We here at Clarendon Elementary are excited to share out Cowboy Flat Stanley with you. Mrs. Jeffers’ and Mrs. Black’s second grade class has 11 girls and 20 boys. We enjoyed reading the book about Flat Stanley. Cowboy Stanley has been with our class the last few weeks. We will miss him while he is gone. We know that Stanley will experience many new friends and adventures on his journey.
Cowboy Stanley is coming from Clarendon, Texas. It is a small town in the Texas Panhandle. It is a rural community that has a great deal of farming and ranching. Cowboy Stanley enjoys the Fourth of July Ranch Rodeo. He also enjoys going to the Bar H Dude Ranch, the Sandell Drive In, and swimming in the Greenbelt Lake. Our class hopes you have fun with Cowboy Flat Stanley and return him home safely at the end of his journey.
